- Capseals
- Most widely used type of drum seal
- Lightweight metal or plastic caps that
crimp over the bung openings with a special tool
- To remove them, they must be destroyed
- Helps in determining if tampering has occurred
- Open-Head drums
- Must seal the locking ring as well as any bungs in the cover
- Wire-type seals
- Use a thin, strong wire and either a Self-Lock™ clip or lead disc closure
- Lead disc
- Sealed with a special hand tool (which also embosses up to 3 letters or numbers on the seal)
- "Padlock" seals
- Look like little plastic padlocks
- Bolt-ring drums
- Use padlock seal or wire-type seal through a drilled bolt
- Leverlock drums use same seals on the locking ring handle
- As long as seal is in place, the ring can't be removed
- Plug-N-Lok™
- Easy to install
- Fit all steel and plastic drums
