When it comes to liquid dispensing products (pumps, faucets, meters, etc.) the most important question we ask
is the obvious one: what’s the liquid? The right pump for your job depends a lot on the liquid to be pumped, but
that’s not the only thing, and there are lots of choices.
- Hand Pumps
- Great for occasional, low volume jobs
- Plastic and metal pumps available
- Will handle a wide range of liquids
- Good for pumping smaller amounts of liquids
- Rotary or piston-style pumps
- Better choice for medium-volume jobs
- Steady flow of liquid with a lot less effort
- Can pump over longer distances and greater heights
- Important when transferring motor oil or coolant from a drum to an engine
- Some new rotary and piston pumps
- are all chemical-resistant plastic
- Can handle acids and caustics as well as most other chemical
- Pumping flammables
- OSHA regs and local fire ordinances require that you use a Factory Mutual Approved or UL-Listed pump
- P55TS
- Comes complete with grounding and bonding wires
- FM-approved
- The right drum pump is an investment in productivity and safety
